2022 MG ZS EV Price and Availability

The new electric SUV from MG is a refreshed version and comes in two variants – Excite and Exclusive. The entry variant Excite has priced at Rs 22 lakh and the top-end model will cost Rs 25.88 lakh. The colour options are – Ferris White, Copenhagen Blue, Currant Red, Sable Black, and Ashen Silver. The company has commenced the sale of the Exclusive model from today while the Excite variant will hit the market later in July 2022.

2022 MG ZS EV Features

The 2022 MG ZS EV gets several cosmetic upgrades. On the outside, that includes MG Astor-like chiselled front bumper, chrome trims running along the border, hawk-eye-inspired headlamps, split LED taillights, roof rails and more. ALSO READ: A new electric car called MG4 could debut in Q4,2022; MG Motors posts a teaser video On the interior, the MG ZS EV facelift features a faux carbon-fibre trim-around dashboard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera and rear-drive assist enables blind spot detection, assistance for a lane change, and rear cross-traffic alert. The 7-seater electric SUV offers a 7-inch panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth key, six airbags, and wireless charging among others. MG has made improvements in Safety features as well. The new MG ZS 2022 include six airbags, traction control, hill descent control, ABS, EBD, brake assist, TPMS, seat belt reminder, and electronic stability control. In terms of performance, the ZE EV facelift can do zero to 100kmph in just 8.5 seconds. The electric motor can produce a power of 176hp and 280Nm torque. The new MG ZS electric SUV features a 50.3kWh battery pack replacing 44.5kWh in the previous generation. This results in an improved 461 km range as compared to 419 km claims made by its predecessor. Also, the new MG electric SUV will compete against the to-be-announced Hyundai Kona Electric.
